I 864 sponsor's household size

HI, i have a question filling the 864 for my wife. i have 3 children from previous marriage. i pay the child support and my ex wife put them in her tax return this year. as long as they dont live with me and they are not in my tax return as dependents should i put number 3 in part 5 d? so if the answer is yes then i should count 3 kids, my wife and myself which is gonna be 5 people? thank you for any respond

If you have dependants they count. No matter where they live. Go to TRAVEL.STATE.GOV. Donwload the instructions for AFFIDAVIT OF SUPPORT. It will guide you through the proccess.
