I-864 questions

I'm new to the forum so hope im not raising already answered questions. Anyway im soon to be married to a US citizen and im from the UK. We then hope to settle in the US :).

The problem being for I-864 issues is that she is a student and has no formal income. With regards to the I-864a form i will have earned enough money to take us over the Federal poverty line with my job in the UK i.e. i could be the co-sponsor. My question is that as my job is in the UK once i get my visa application approved and leave for the US i of course would have to quit my job here in England. But reading the I-864a form it states that I must have the same income stated on the form still present for the first two years of staying in the US until i can apply for change of status. As i cannot guarantee this im not really sure if my application for a visa would be accepted. Do you think i should find another co-sponsor in the US? Hope you can help.
