Hi everyone!!! I applies for AOS an they sent me RFE for joint sponsor. Now my cousin is going to do it , and he is going to give me only 2009 taxes and last 2 statemnts from the bank, I know this would be enough as he makes a lot of money, My question is, I asked him to ask for tax transcripts but he wants to give me 2009 tax return that he alredy has home. It is fine, right? and do we need to send all pages from his tax return, its long over 50 pages. or just 1040 and schedule C ( he is self employed so he doenst have W2s and 1099) Thabk you!!!!!1

Please somebody help me! Do we need to send all pages from his tax return, its long over 50 pages. or just 1040 and schedule C ?

1040 + schedule B,C,D,E,F + W2 + 1099 (eliminate those that are not applicable to him).

If he has a long and complicated tax return, it's better send a tax transcript from the IRS instead of all that stuff. A long complex return will just invite USCIS to nitpick at something or increase the chance of delays as they spend time looking through the pile of papers. The IRS can quickly fax a transcript to him.

Thank you so much! so its basically entire tax return, since he is giving me taxes not transcripts we will just send them all, about the delay, i dont know , nothing I can do, i guess as long they will accept these Ill be happy

Ask why he won't give a tax transcript. It can be obtained quickly from the IRS.

Whatever he sends will become a permanent part of your immigration files. The tax transcript only has a few pages of summary information, not 50 pages of details; does he prefer all the nitty gritty details of his tax return to be in USCIS files forever? Talk to him, I think you can convince him that it is better for him to give only the transcript rather than the full blown return.

If he is unwilling to get the transcript because he actually hasn't filed taxes (i.e. he only filled out a tax return but did not submit it yet), that's a bad idea --USCIS can verify the return with the IRS.

he just wont listen about transcripts. I am sorry to bother you again but I have another question. i have his tax return and form 1040 has 2pages and he only has Schedule C which is 2pages too. He doent have w2 and 1099. So do I sent just these 4 pages from his tax return.. ? He gave me complete return with Schedules A, B,SE and M and it says under these that they are part of 1040.Do I send these too? Thank you so much
