I-864 question, if filling for both parents at same time..

I submitted I-130's for my parents at the same time and were approved by CSC at the same time.
- Doing CP for both, recently received from NVC the DS3032 and the AOS fee bill ($70) for Mother but not for my Father yet. Anybody has had similar experience?

I'm filing out the I-864 form and have a question about part 2 "Principle immigrant" and part 3, "Accompanying family members"..
- If only parents are immigrating to US with no children, and for each parent there needs to be a separate I-864, then in part 2 for Mother I-864, should be her name and part 3 box 9 stays blank with no need to put Father's name under accompanying member since he has his own I-864?

Am I being correct?

Thanks in advance for your reply.

Yes, you are correct!
It says very clearly: "Do not include any relative listed on a separate visa petition.".
Note: In parents cases there are no derivatives, so part 3 box 9 would always be blank.

Thank you Anahit,

You can call NVC with I130 receipt # to see whether case is created for your Father and the packet is on its way. Hopefully you will receive the packet soon. Else you will have to contact CSC (I am not sure how) and ask them to send approved petition to NVC. You can try USCIS 800 # or INFOPASS.

Had you submitted AOS fee bill for both parents together, you needed to send only one $70. Now you may have to submit another $70. Also for both the cases to move together, you may want to hold off sending your mom's DS 230 form (last step with NVC) till your dad's case catches up with that stage. Good luck!

visaapplicant,

I did not get to post office on time to mail my Mom's AOS fee bill last night and when I arrived home I had received my Dad's AOS and DS 3022 in the mail. This is among very few occasions that working late may save you $70.

I mailed both fee slips in one envelope w/ only $70 MO this morning. Thank you on the advice about the DS 230. So next step I guess is receiving the IV bill which seems they are ever so quick to process this part. I'll post my time line for benefits of others.

Regards,
