My husband(USC) is my sponser for I-864 and filling it out now. I'd like to ask 2 things.
1. In part3, Q9 check box says
"I am sponsoring for following family members immigrating at the same time of the principal immigrant named in Part 2 above(my name is on Part 2)."
If he check a box of Q8 for yes which is "I am sponsoring the principal immigrant named in Part2 above",doesn't he have to check a box of Q9 and put my name and relationship? Or does he have to check both Q8&9, and put my name and relationship on Q9?
I don't get purpose of Q9. Does Q9 ask about info of the principal immigrantnamed in part 2 which is me, or does it ask as a completely new question?
2 In Part5, Q21c says "If you are currently married, enter "1" for your spouse." but above this sentense, there's a big warning saying Persons NOT sponsered in this affidavit .
And at the end, Q21 h, it asks "Add together lines and enter the number here. Household Size " I told him to put number 2 for it though I know if we add all lines from 21a to 21g, it'll be 3.
But my husband insists "If we follow this instruction, the number on Q21 h will be 3 " But the answer for the question "Household SIze " is 2 so I don't think number 3 will be approriate. We fought about it.
