I-864: part 1, 2, and 3

I am sponsoring my wife for a green card

The layout of the first page of I-864 is confusing. The header bar for Part 1 spans half of page 1. The bar for Part 2 spans half of page 1 as well. Is the mailing address and "other information" on page 1 meant for the sponsor or the immigrant? Furthermore, if the address and "other information" is for the immigrant, do I need to fill out 2.a-2.f of part 3?

There are 2 columns on each page. It first reads down the left column and then to the top of the right column and down that.

So Part 1 only occupies part of the left column on page 1. Part 2 takes up the bottom of the left column and the entire right column page 1. The "mailing address" and "other information" are part of Part 2 and are about the principal immigrant.

Part 3 item 2 is about "Family member 1" of the principal immigrant; in other words, the 2nd immigrant. Part 3 items 2-6 are about additional immigrants (up to 5) immigrating with the principal immigrant.
