Hi all :
My spouse has final interview on January 19, 2004
(Counsular processing, US citizen's spouse, Immigrant Visa)
I supposed to submit tax returns of year 2002,2001 & 2000
Problem is: 1) Year 2002 > $16,290 (IRS tax filing income)
2) Year 2001 > $ 7,926 (IRS tax filing income)
3) Year 2000 > $ 8,127 (IRS tax filing income)
Questions>
1) Because interview is on January 2004, do I need to submit Year 2003 tax filing copy to the US Embassy?
2) DO I need to do amendment of the year 2001 & 2000 tax return showing my Increased income(self-employment)
3) Can I submit the Joint-sponsor (my spouses elder sister who is a Green card holder & income is 126K/year)
but, from other applicants' cases at the US Embassy(where my spose will be interviewed), I know that for last couple of months consulate is not accepting any joint-sponsor.
----------------
***In this situation what option I will have to solve the "I-864" problem because of insufficient income?
Thank you. Everyone is welcome for their valuable opinions.
Regards,
Maria
