I-864,I-864A Froms

Hi Cp Seniors,
i got Packet 4 last week.Consulate asking to bring I-864A form.
do i need I-864 A form.i read in the forum Employment based Immigrant people should take I-134 as an affidavit .then why consulate people asks I-864 A form.can anyone clarify.i didn't see any where I-134 in packet4 .
can any one help me pelase..

I belive 864 is for family based immigration.
Majority of the cases at the consulate are family based cases, so they mention that in the P4.

Most applicants in family-based immigrant visa categories

Orphans to be adopted in the United States (IR-4)

Applicants for employment-based immigrant visas whose relative filed the immigrant visa petition or whose relative has a five percent or greater ownership interest in the business that filed the petition

see here employment based immigrant visa is also there

what is ur opinion?
