Hi everyone,
I have been married for almost 8 months now and right now i'm collecting all of my documents to apply for my green card.
The problem is my wife doesn't make enough money at all because you was pregnant plus she didn't claim her tax at all. My mother in law will be our sponsor so i'm not sure which form does she have to fill out? I-864 or I-864A

-Would it be a problem if my wife didn't claim her tax in past 3 years? if so what should i do?
-What does my mother in law need beside her income tax in past 3 year?
-How much money does my mother need ?
-Does my mother in law need to show her bank statement?
-Does my mother in law need to fill out G-325A?

Thanks in advance
David

Does your mother in law live with both you and your wife? If yes, she would fill out I-864A. If not, she would fill out I-864.

In either case, your MIL's I-864/I-864A will be in addition to an I-864 filled out by your wife. Your wife is the petitioner (the person who is filing the I-130), so she is considered the primary sponsor, regardless of how much money or income she has. Other people such as your MIL who are pledging financial support are called joint sponsors or household members or co-sponsors.

-How much money does my mother need ?
That depends on the "household size" for the I-864 calculation. Read the I-864 instructions to see how that is counted, and read I-864P to see the required $$ amounts for each household size.

My wife she doesn't make enough money and she didn't claim her tax the year before last year. She will fill out I-864 and we need to find a co-sponsor.

One of my close friend is willing to help me ....
My question is, Does it has to be only her relative? or Can anyone be my sponsor?

will it make my case more complicated? and Is there a chance to get deny if i have my friend be our co-sponsor?

My wife doesn't make enough money so my friend is willing to be my joint sponsor ..

"Does he need to fill G-325A out" ?

My joint-sponsor is living in the same house with us..

"Does he has to fill out I-864 or I-864A?"

Thank you

If the joint sponsor who lives in the same house is the sibling, parent, or child of your wife, or your wife claims that person as a dependent on her Federal tax return, they would file I-864A. Otherwise they'd file another I-864 in addition to your wife's I-864.

One more question ..

I have completed every application forms, every documents and ready to apply for my green card.

but should i wait for a 2010 tax income?
