I-864 Affidavit of support question

Hi all,
I am a US citizen (naturalized) and would like to sponsor Green Card (PR) for my spouse alone. We are the only 2 people in our household. I read the instructions but just want to confirm.

I guess question 21 c. should be entered as '0'. Is that correct?

Do I need to enter '02' or is it '01' ?

For Question 25. Federal Income tax return information.

How do I compute the total income for Year 2006 and Year 2005 if I have been in more than 1 job in these years? Is there a specific way to calculate this?

Your household size is 2.

For Q. 25:

For purposes of this affidavit, the line for gross (total) income on IRS Forms 1040 and 1040A will be considered when determining income. For persons filing IRS Form 1040 EZ,the line for adjusted gross income will be considered.

You don't calculate anything for Q. 25, you enter the appropriate amount from the line shown on your tax returns.

By the way, you may look at I-864EZ to see if you qualify for it and have an easier time completing the form.

Thanks austriacs. Then I believe 21c should be entered as '0' (zero) since it says 'Persons NOT sponsored in this affidavit:'.

That is correct! You count a person only once, and in this case, it would be in 21a for your spouse, 21b for yourself, for a total of 2.
