I-824 at VSC approved

Hello,

Amazing, I got the receipt notice on 11/26 and approval notice on 11/30. I got a fax for the former from my lawyer and will see the actual approval notice next week. I am, however, sending my packet 3 for AC140 today.

I-824 at VSC
RD: 10/18/01 recd. by lawyer 11/26
ND: 11/14/01
AD: 11/26/01 recd. by lawyer 11/30
case goes to NVC now. this makes my AC140 case stronger if nothing else, I hope.

Congrats! VSC did it very fast.
Looks like a few approvals were also
seen of i824 at VSC this week.

My lawyer sent i824 on Oct 8, No receipt yet.
 I have a question, Is the i824 receipt number
same as i140 receipt number or is it entirely new?
 
EAC numbers different for I-824 and I-140

Since I-140 and I-824 are different applications, you get different numbers (EAC numbers) for 140 and 824. they must have a mechanism to link them two together so that when they act on 824 the correct i140 file gets processed. furthermore, remember that your file doesn\'t get VSC numbers, only your application gets it.
