I just recieved an I-797C for the I-130 I recently filed for my wife to come join me in the United States. I was very excited and looked up the cast status immediately. It said 990 to 999 days. Is this correct? I hope not, otherwise I'll have to move to China. I don't think I could stand that long of a wait. I've read it takes roughly a year, + or - a month or 2.

What do I do with this Notice of Action I recieved. It's Notice Type is listed as receipt. Can I start filing K3 now?

I am a native US citizen. I was born here and have been here my whole life.


Is it too early to mail in a K3 since I have the I-130 processing now?
