I-797 has wrong date of birth..because i-129 prepared by employer made a typo error.

Is there any problem in getting visa stamped in Chennai.

Hi, I had the same problem when I extended my H1. Went thru the dropbox in TT Services, Chennai. I was worried as I noticed only in Inida while on a vacation. There was no problem at all. Consulate used the right DOB, probably from the passport and original visa. They must have noticed the error and even included a form to fill if any corrections are required! Hope this helps.
