while booking for an appointment with the consulate online, is I-797 required? Could I book an appointment right now without having I-797 and then while going to the consulate carry it?
The reason I am asking is, my L1 visa is under process, but the appointment dates at the consulate are quite far off, and if I wait for the i-797 to come, by then the appointment dates would have been pushed further. So not to lose time, can i go ahead and pay the fee and book an appointment?
