I have completed my Code 3 FP and AOS interview last April 2006 (married to US citizen). Since my name is stuck in Namecheck and my H1-B visa expiring in April 07, I filed for my EAD this October. However, I recieved a notification for Code 2 FP required for EAD. Is this normal? I was under the impression that once you have your Code 3 FP completed, USCIS does not require additional FP for EAD. I even called USCIS Customer Service and was told that I am not required to pay additional FP fees when submitting I-765 (which I didn't). Should I take money order when I go for my Code 2 FP?
