Hi,
I filed my I-765(Extension of EAD) yesterday. By mistake i entered the country of nationality to USA, since it was next to my address. How can i correct it.
Do I leave it as it is and apply again, or is there a way to correct it.

Thanks
MILEEB

Friend,

Don't worry, since it is renewal of EAD and they already have common data available in their system, they would treat this as simple typo and I believe their data entry operator would correct it using old record while entering data into system. so u don't need to worry much about it. it would be common understanding that how can a US nationaltly holder is applying for EAD. and u also have sent I-94. But It would be good thing to correct it when u get receipt.

Wait for EAD receipt becz whatever typo is, they would feed into system and would issue the receipt. Once u got reciept make copy of that receipt and correct the EAD form and highlight the column u made mistake and write simple letter to explain and request to correct. and send with ur pending EAD reciept, and any proof like passport copy and I-94, to same EAD address.

HOpefully it would work.

Good Luck.

It's still not too late. It happended me too last year, ended up getting RFE to send all pages of my passport. So, when you send your supp docs attach a letter indicating that you made a mistake and don't forget to send all pages of your passport ....which is the evidence that you are not a US national. I remember sending both copies of PP and birth certificate, but i send it after the fact that i rcvd RFE......

This is one of the ways, may be there is other ways to do it by waiting for responses from others.

Good Luck!

Thanks folks,
I havnt posted by papers, I will write a letter and attach the copies of both my passport and covering letter tomorrow. I really appreciate your help.
