I 765 - EAD Approval

For those who are in waiting for EAD approval

My renewal for I 765, employment authorization doc (which I have sent it myself to VSC -- not via lawyer) has been approved.

Here are the details

EAC03117****

I have sent the docs via certified mail on Feb 27 and sent in a check for $ 120 (have not sent 88) doesn't matter for couple of dollars.

There is one thing that might help to notice here. If your bank provides a check image facility for online checking then you can see the back of the check and look at the EAC or any other number pertaining. They have that stamped when they cash the check. This if for those people who have not received any sort of communication from BCIS

BCIS received the app on March 5, 2003.

Saw today, It has been approved. So, the approval date is April 4, 2003.

Hope this helps for those who are waiting.
 
when did you receive the receipt notice

and what is the date on that notice , RD & ND?

Congrats.I have applied my EAD on Feb 27 2003 by myself as well.I saw my check($88) has been cashed by INS and found out EAC number from my check.Do u think $88 would be problem ?...

I am still waitting for my EAD?....

Can you guys please post the list of documents you have send to INS/BCIS for EAD renewal. I too want to do the renewal myself...

2 BCIS standard photo

Copy of paper received during previous EAD

What do you mean by " Copy of paper received during previous EAD " .. ???
 
EAD

The Sheet on which the EAD is attached when we receive it.
Our Alien number is printed on that sheet.
In that sheet it is clearly printed about requirement of
the upper part of the sheet, during EAD renewal for quick approval!!
But some times even no use of it!!

what about I-485 receipt notice?

I read the I-765 instruction and I thought it said that the receipt notice of I-485 application needed to be included too. Is my understanding right? Please confirm. I plan to renew EAD on my own too.
