Hi,
I have a problem in my I-765 process. As my EAD (L2-EAD) got expired, I applied for extension via online and sent some of the additional documents in post. My husband posted all those documents from his office. So, the package was holding his office address.
Once my EAD card was ready, they sent it to that office address that they read from the post what my husband sent.
So, the EAD post was undelivered by the post office (since they sent it to some office address).
When I called them and explained them, they asked me file for change of address AR-11 and I did that even though my address is not changed at all.
Now they have re-started the process again and the I-765 status is saying 'Initial Review'
I don't understand why they referred to the address in the post, instead of referring to the address that I have given in the application form?? If I have known this before, I would have gone to a post office and sent it, instead of asking my husband to send all the documents from his office!
I'm totally depressed (staying at home jobless for so long)..
So, what next? Should I wait for 3 more months for the process to be done from the beginning?
Thank you for reading and answering.
