I-751, Travel After Filing

Hello members,

My GC expires on dec 2007, so I will be filing within the prior 90 days.

My wife, - USC - , is currently planning a 2 weeks international business trip for November 2007.

I personally think this trip is not a good idea and need to be cancelled based
on the - remote - chance to be called in for an interview.

What do you think?

I d appreciate to have your opinion and advise.

A good thing to check would be to see what the timelines for your service center are, for processing I-751. If they are delayed by 6 months, you won't expect to hear any decision on your case till then.
But you have to be present in the country, so you can go for FP (biometrics), which you will receive after you submitted your application.

I will file in the Vermont center,

I know if the want to call you in for an interview they
usually do it within the 90 days after filing,

I will be in the country but she would be out, and that is worring me a bit..............
