I-751 REF (Request for Additional Evidence deadline) not met

Hi everyone. I got a letter from USCIS last month requiring an additional evidence for illegible fingerprint, and it stated that the deadline is June, 16. I sent it out on 15th on USPS express mail, but it wasn't registered until 16th in their system and it was delivered to the California service center this morning, which is one day later than the actual deadline.
Right now, I am so extremely worried about the case might be denied due to the late response..
Is there anybody who had a similar experience? Please tell me if you do, and how long will it take me to find it out on the USCIS website case status check?
Thank you!!

Usually they'll accept it if it's just 1 or 2 days late. But all you can do is wait and see what happens. Worrying about it won't change the result. If they're going to deny the case because the RFE was received too late, they'll almost surely send the denial within the next 2-4 weeks. If they accept the RFE and keep the case alive, they'll probably just keep quiet about it, although some people are lucky enough to see a case update online saying that the RFE was accepted and processing has resumed.
