I-751 receipt notice Vermont Service Center

I sent I-751 to Vermont Service Center over 3 months ago and I still have not received a receipt notice. Please share your experience on how long you had to wait for a notice from the Vermont Service Center. I have called INS and they told me they receive my application and deposited my check. I need to travel in September and need this notice.

That's strange. You should have gotten a receipt much earlier. When you called INS, did they tell you if anything was mailed back to you ?

I got my receipt within two weeks of mailing.

It would help if you can find out when the check was cashed. In most cases, the receipt date should be around that date. Once you get this info, you would have an idea when the receipt should have reached you. Im not sure if duplicate receipts are provided, but you can check with USCIS to see if they can provide you one. When you called, did you get to know the status of your case?
