I-751 questions

I sent in my I-751 application at the Nebraska SC in Aug. About a 2 weeks later, I rcvd the I-797 appointment for biometrics and photo. I got my biometrics and photo taken on October 4.

What's the usual process for the I-751? Is there an interview? Along with tax returns, joint bank accts and joint ownership of our home, we sent in our son's birth certificate, born this year.

Any idea on the chances of approval w/o interview? Thanks in advance. :)

Yes, you and your spouse must appear for a personal interview at the district office that serves the area where you live.

If the Director is satisfied with the written petition that your marriage was not a sham marriage to get the immigration benefits, he may waive the interview requirements an approve the petition.

If the interview is waived you will be mailed the approved petition.Take your approval notice to local USCIS office and get the I-551 stamp in your passport for permanent residency.

Grumpybear,
With the evidence you sent in for your I-751, I don't think you will be needing any interview.
Good Luck

question on photo requirement

Greetings,
I wear prescription eyeglasses. Everytime. Now that I have to have a photo taken, do I leave my eyeglasses on or take them off when being photographed for the I-751? and N-400?
