Hey, folks,

My Biometrics was done Feb 4th , so it has been 9 months.... but it has not been approved yet. I live in Atlanta and my case is at Vermont SC ( my case number starts EAC).

I will travel at the beginning of next year and return US mid-Feb. I think the processing is going to be slowed down more by holidays ( thanksgiving and Xmas).

So do you suggest me to book an info pass appointment? And what that can do for me? Getting a stamp , receiving another extension, or just telling me to be patient?

Thanks for your answering.

Have a good Friday.

If you have your NOA with 1 Year GC extension. you are fine to travel depending on when the 1 year extension expires.
You can always make an infopass appointment and get you I-551 stamped on your passport.

thanks for your replying,

but info pass would be the same as letter--give one year extension or would the stampe better than the letter when I travel?

Also the extension is counted from GC expiration not from the NOA date, right?

thanks

Vermont is dealing with 751 cases filed in November 2007 as of now. So your case is about a month to 3 before it is looked at. Based on the processing times on the USCIS website.
