Hello everyone,
hope that somebody will be able to assist with the following:
Back at the beginning of Febr. I filed my I-751, three weeks later I received my NOA for the Biometrics which was done mid of March.
I have not received the NOA (receipt notice) which gives you an extension of your green card for one year.
Talked to the USCIS beginning of this week and a new one will be sent.
As my card will expire tomorrow will I still be able to work even I have not received the receipt notice?
Appreciate your assistance.

Yes, you still can work.

Anyway, if in a week you don't received your extension letter then you can go for INFOPASS with the biometrics notice (so they know that you received at least the second NOA) and ask for a stamp in your passport.

Hi Cherr1980,
thanks a lot for your information. Took a small burden off my back despite the fact that the USCIS on the phone mentioned that technically I am not allowed to work. So I just left it there.
What exactly exactly is INFOPASS?

For what you going to call them...and you don't have to say anything to your HR department either.

Go to uscis.gov page...and at your left side you will see INFOPASS in red and blue letters, click there. Is to make an appointment to your field office. You need to make an appointment to be able 1. enter 2. get your stamp in your passport if you want one.

awesome, thanks a lot.
Just called them to see if they are able to provide an up-date on my status as I did not receive anything and my GC is about to expire.
