I-751 during divorce process?

I filed for I-751 since 2005. I received 3 letters requesting my fingerprints over the course of the years, a couple of days I received a letter from the INS requesting both of us to show for an interview.

The divorce is going to be filed in the next couple of days.

My future ex agreed to go with me, but we have to figure out what are we going to explain to the officer.

What should we say?
