I-751 & DIVORCE, HELP

Hi folks,

I have been looking for answers to this questions in other forums with no luck.

My wife filed her I-751 and was approved 2 weeks ago, we are having major problems and have decided that divorce is the only solution and our only way out. My question is, how long do we have to wait to file for divorce now that her conditions were removed? is there a time frame before one can file for divorce after the I-751 has been approved?
If we file for divorce now, will she get in trouble?

We have been married since 02/03 if that helps.

Thanks in advance for you time and help.

That's it.
She's done.
She's supposed to go to the DO with I-751 approval notice and surrender the expired green card. They will stamp her passport for another 6 months/1 year and she'll receive the new 10-year GC in the mail.

There is no time limit within which you need to go for the divorce. There would not be any trouble but then also be cautious and I suggest to wait for a while as the USCIS may come up that she got married for the purposes of immigration.
