My husband filed a petition to remove the conditions on his permanent residence 2 years ago. Last time he went to the local CIS to inquire about his case (6/9/05) he was told they didn't have his file and would look into it.
Now, we're receiving a letter denying the GC for abandonment. According to them, we were scheduled to appear for an interview on 6/16/05 (!!!) and didn't go...
The only option, according to the letter is to file a motion to reopen.
Does anybody knows what's involved? Forms, fees, supporting documents...
My husband got his resident status through our marriage. Do we have to send proof of our marriage AGAIN (bills, bank accounst etc.)?
