I-751 Biometrics appointment after 40 days or less?

Hello members,

We filed my I-751 this week and we are considering

traveling for a week. I just wonder

how long, ususally, USCIS schedules the biometrics
appointment: 40 days or less?

if its less than 40 days then we have to cancel our
reservation (Oct 05 to Oct 13) or can I reschedule the
biometric appoinment?

Well, you can never predict when you will receive the appointment... and the appointment will probably be in 1 to 2 weeks after you receive the letter... You can always reschedule but I wouldn't risk it.

so if the letter takes ususally 3 weeks, 3 + 1 = 4weeks

I should be fine, as my reservation is for Oct 06-13
