I-751 Attorney Fee?

I am a US citizen and my wife's temporary green card will be expired in April. I contacted the attorney's office to start I 751 process and they sent me a list of documents that I need to provide along with bill which is $2,500 for just Attorney's fee. I used the same Attorney who is a very nice person for initial application for permenent residency for my wife 2 years ago. All this time I thought the fee we paid then which is $2,000 which was for I485, 130 and 765 also included 751 too. I was shocked to see additional $2500. Is it normal spend this much on 751s?
Inputs are greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

Regardless of whether is is high or not, you could keep the money and fill the form out yourself. I-751 is probably one of the easiest USCIS forms to complete. From what you write, it appears you guys will be filing together with no "difficulties" attached to your case. If you have enough evidence to send with the 751, it should be a piece of cake, even without an attorney.

But to answer the original question: yes, $2500 is an outrageous amount of money for maybe 2 hours of paralegal time to fill out your I751 application.

Most people file I-751 themselves without paying anybody. No need for an attorney unless there are complications, like if you filed for divorce.

You also wasted a lot of money for the green card process. Most people also do that without an attorney, and if they use an attorney it is usually just for a one-time consultation to review the paperwork after they filled them out on their own. That only costs about $200, not $2000. Then they make the corrections and submit it themselves.

That is what I am going to be doing this time. Is I751 the only form to be filed? Please advise.

I751 is the only USCIS form you need to submit, but when you read the instructions you will note that you will be asked to include evidence with your I751 form submission.
