I-751 applying for 1 year extension

Hello to all:
Unfortunately my case was redirect to VSC from TSC. My year extension is going to expire very soon. I renew my passport so they can stamp it.
It would be any problem If I apply for a year extension before expires?

Also I receive twice the appointment for my fingerprints, unfortunately the FBI was not able to "check" my fingerprints, I think the second time did not work well, so am I going to receive a letter telling me my fingerprints were not "cleared" by the FBI?

I'll appreciate your comments about it.

I would make an info pass and ask about the case.

Isn't the NOA valid for 1 year from the expiration of the green card, or is it valid for 1 year from the date on the NOA? Let's say your NOA has the date of March, but the green card expires in June, how long is the extension for, May or June the following year?
 
Just make an INFOPASS before expires and explained the situation...and you can ask what's going with your case. Are you one of the transferees that happened on Jan this year? If so, they should be working on your case...or done with it.
