Dear Friends,

I have few queries regarding the medical exams (form I-693)

1. What all procedures are done as a part of the physical exam ?
2. What all vaccinations are administered ?
3. Do we need to get any certificate from a doctor in our home country stating that certain vaccinations were administered in past ?
4. Is it possible that a person and his/her spouse go to different doctors ?

you will have to go to INS certified doctors only..you can get the list form INS website.

If you had vaccine in India then you will have show the proof to the INS doctor and then only he will excempt you otherwise you will have to take the vaccine.

Yes wife and husband can goto the different doctors as both will be filing seperate I-485 and I-693

my wife and I filed I485 without the medical exam by mistake. how can we fix this? can we just get it done and mail asap to texas service attaching the receipt notice of I485??
