I-693 Medical Exam during Pregnancy

I'm pregnant and need to have the I-693 medical exam done, however, I do not wish to take the flu shot vaccine in my current condition, what excuses/reasons can I give to the civil surgeon/physician so I can avoid taking the flu shot without risking being denied my I-485? I'm living in the U.S. and we are in flu season now. Thank you!

Just tell you are pregnant and it's not safe to have shots while pregnant. That's perfectly OK not to have it for special reasons. USCIS needs the view of the surgeon and if the doctor says that you should not have it then that's good enough.
