I just read on USCIS website that starting Dec 2009, they need vaccination against (Varicella, Pneumococcal, Influenza (during flu season), Rotavirus, Hepatitis A and meningiococcal.

So this question goes out to all cases that just got their cases approved after dec 2009.

I have never been vaccinated for Hepatitis A. I inquired about this with my civil surgeon and he said I am not at risk, hence don't need it. This is what he wrote in the I-693 form as well.

Regarding other vaccines, civil surgeon response was as follows
1) Varicella: you're immune to it as you had varicella as a kid
2) Pneumococcal: not for your age and you are healthy
3) Influenza: not a flu season
4) Rotavirus: not for your age.
5) Meningiococcal: i received one shot as a kid

Did you guys get Hep A vaccination or were you OK? Were you sent an RFE regarding vaccination?

If i may ask,did you in any way tell the surgeon you had already taken this vaccination?I dont see why the civil surgeon should tell you that you are not at risk in the case of Hep/A,except you have a record to show.Well as in my case i was in the same situation because i argued with the civil surgeon that i had some of those vaccines as a kid but had no record to show,so i was left with the option to either go ahead and do as per the requirement or stand by my claim.Well the best is to follow what is required to avoid RFE.I read in one of the threads someone after the interview he was asked to go back to the civil surgeon and get some of the vaccines/questions regarding some areas in the I693 form which was not properly answered by the surgeon before he will hear from them concerning his case.(Note he passed the interview)
