Hi all,
I am new to the Forum, trying to find a few answers.
I married in 2008 US citizen. Our marriage was great at the beginning. He petitioned for me and I got my conditional gc. However a few months into marriage i discover that he lied to me about his financial situation. He had huge debts he never told me about. the bank decline him as a co-signer of my account because of his credit history and the fact that he still owes some money to the bank. He used my credit cards without permission. Then i discovered that he has a mistress. And then he stole money from my account and moved out. I don't know where.
I don't know what to do- my conditional gc is expiring in 5 months. We are not divorce yet. What should i do? I appreciate any advice.

Immediately file for divorce with reason for divorce him being unfaithful, file a report about fraudulent credit card usage, the money in the account he took, if it was a joint account then its a civil matter, file a civil suit for that.
Save paperwork for all this.
When its time to remove conditions file I-751 with the divorced but entered the marriage in good faith option, go to the interview and explain the whole situation to the DAO and provide all these documents plus more that you would have for a bonafide marriage, if it is what you say it is and play your cards right you will not need his sorry a_ _ to get you the unconditional GC.
