Dear Friends,
Yesterday, I got my passport stamped. but does any body Knows....how long it takes to get plastic card!!!

When we had the interview at the beginning of april 2005, the officer didn't want to
take my EAD, my I-94, nor stamped my passports. He said they do not stamp passports anymore and I'd be gettingthe GC in a week. Same day had an e-mail form the USCIs that the 've ordered me a card. And eventually I got it a week after the interview.

Would you please share what category did you apply under and Did the office had your FBI cleareance before your interview.

Some of us had interviews months ago and still waiting for the reply from USCIS... your input will give us some light of the processing.

here it is

I applied under Family Based. yes, office had my security clearence already.

I have nothing to say, as i know FBI name check takes about anywhere between 6 months to 3 yrs.
