Can I-551 or green card be revoked

I changed employers before 180 days while my I-485 was pending. INS approved my case without an RFE and therefore I did not send an AC-21 letter to INS.

Some people are giving me an extreme view point that I-551 can be revoked if INS now determines that a job change was made and no AC-21 letter was recieved.

Please comment on this.

You said it, it is an "Extreme" point of view. You are legally entitled to change your job after 180 days of 485 application as long as your 140 is approved. Since the AC21 interpretation has not been completed, you are in the clear as far as interpreting it losely to mean you can change jobs and not send AC21. I wouldn't worry about it if I were you.
