Hi,
I-539 form is used to extend/change non-immigrant status. I want change my status from H1B to F1. I think I need to specify the date from when (the date) I want to start changing.
I found one part name “Part3: Processing Information” in that form. In section 1 of this part, it says
I/We request that my/our current or requested status be extended until (mm/dd/yyyy) _______________________
I believe I need to specify the starting date in this place. Can anyone please correct me if I’m wrong? Also if I’m wrong, then where should I put the date?
