Hi,

Looks like the filing addresses for i539 have changed. Currently it mentions that if we are just filing ONLY the i539 we should file it at a lockbox facility. Any ideas what a lockbox facility is? Has anyone filed at a lockbox facility before?

Thanks in advance.

Hi achoowin,
Each Lock box facility will scan the documents submitted and complete the data entry and fee processing steps before forwarding accepted applications on for further processing.

The following immigration forms should be mailed to USCIS lock box facilities rather than directly to USCIS Service Centers:---I-129F,I-130,I-140,I-526,I-539,I-817.Applications already en route to the Service Centers will be automatically forwarded to the appropriate lock box for a period of 45 days. After September 17th, packages (including fees) will be returned to the applicant along with a note explaining the new filing instructions.

1. The arrival of receipt cannot be predicted as it differs from case to case.
2. Your application will go to VSC.
