I-539 Extension -Fee Question

Hi
I applied for B-2 visa extension for my in-laws and included a personal check for $400 dollars(200 per person) and INS send my application back and says proper fee not enclosed.

- Do i have to submit separate checks?
- Is it just 200 dollars (even for two people?)

Please let me know if its better to send a money order instead of a personal check.

You just need to send $200 per application no matter how many dependants are included in the same application. I have e-filed I-539 for my parents ( only one application for both father and mother) two days back and the system just asked me to pay $200.
