We have been living in USA on L1 since '99. We have domestic employee. She has been with since '99. We try to extend her visa couple of months ago for another term. We got the following reply from CIS.
They are asking for following info/documents:
1. Provide an evidence that you are compiant with section 274(a)(12)(c)(17)(i) as described in Title 8 of the federal Code of regulations, which states in Pertinent part that a nonimmigrant visitor for business (B1) who is personal or domestic servant, who is accompanying or following to join an employer who seeks admission in to, or already in the US as nonimmigrant under section 101(a)(15) (L)must apply for an employment authorization.
2. submit copies of ALL previous employment authorization cards: and or
3.submit proof that you have recently filed for an EAD (I-765).
My question is she has been with for all these years and they never ask her to apply EAD. This is strange.
Anybody with similar experiences ? ANy input would be greatly appreciated.
What is the "GOLDEN ROD COVER SHEET"
