I-485s filing together?

Hi, everyone, I wish I had found this great forum much earlier. It could have saved me so much trouble and time.
I have a question for the gurus in this forum. My I-140 just got approved, now I'm ready to file my 1-485 with my wife. From the other posts, I understand that we have to submit our applications separately. My question is, can I put the two packages in one envelope, or I have to send them in two envelopes? I'm not trying to save money here. I just want these two applications to be looked at at the same time, since they are related.

Yes, you can. You can separate them with blind clips and maybe put sticky notes on each pile with your names. We sent ours this way. Of course we haven't got approved yet, so it might not be the best way. j/k
