Our I-485s are approved finally! There was an LUD and message changed on the website. I also received 6 emails from CRIS. Here is the LUD message:

Current Status: Card production ordered.

On March 2, 2007, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register
.

Waiting for the cards now.

Our 7 year GC journey began way back in 2000. Had to face two layoffs and had to abondon the GC process during the Labor Certification phase itself on both the times. This is the third one and it has finally ended with a sweet note. I am really greatful to this forum, its organisers and members for all the support and clarity it provided. The wealth of information it has and the real time sharing of information really helped me maintain sanity through the testing times.

I wish good luck to all of you.

Thanks

Thanks guys. Good luck to you all!

supply_demand,
Based on the LUDs in your signature, looks like you will be hearing a decision soon on your case!

Congrats rasi. Your's took a long time for a EB2 case. I really feel happy to see atleast some approvals from VSC now and then. Enjoy the green.

Hi akayal1973,
I gave FP1 in Oct 95 and have not recvd my FP2. Did you request for FP2 or are you just waiting for it?
Thanks

Thanks!

Thanks guys!

EB1ORAug2005! My case was stuck in name check for 20 months or so. After writing letters to FBI/DHS/Senator/Whitehouse, it was cleared in Nov/Dec 2006. My wife's name check was completed within 2 months of filing the application though!

akayal1973,
Did you write letters to FBI/DHS/Senator/Whitehouse regarding your namecheck? It actually works.

Thanks for the info. I just got my FOIPA results. I am planning to write to the senators and the First lady soon.

Hi Rasi,

Thanks for your suggestion. Yes, I have written letters to my senator three times so far. Got the FBI "FOIPA" letter back with "No records found." Wrote letters to ombudsman and USCIS as well - basically got confirmation everytime that name check/ background check pending. My wife's name check is clear.

I just wrote to the First lady one month back. Lets see what happens with that.

Who did you address your letter in the FBI?

My case got transfered to TSC today - probably part of the en-masse transfers from VSC to TSC.

Cards Received!

akayal1973,
Here is the FBI adderss I send to

Federal Bureau of Investigation
Record Information/Dissemination Section
Service Request Unit, Room 6359
935 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW
Washington D.C. 20535-0001

I also sent letters to White house. Actually the last letter I sent was to First Lady's office. And two months after that my name check was cleared.

Hope that VSC->TSC transfer works out good for you. Good luck!
