Hi,

I just got my I-140 approved and my I-485 has been pending for more than 180 days in Texas.
I have chosen the US process not the consular process.

I would like to know if I can now change job and keep my green card process going. Does it have to be the same kind of job (RF engineer) or can it be in a completly different field ?

My H1 visa is still valid and in the process of being renewed for another 3 years.

you are in the wrong section ...See I485 ....

As for your question,
Yes, you can change the job using A21.

Your job Description on your labor clearance should match with your new job (it is a must).
