I filed my I-485 in July'02 thru my spouse who just bacame citizen in May 2002 and also filed another I-485 in Sep'01 thru LIFE (LULAC amnesty program). Is it illegal to file two I-485 in parallel? I have also gone thru the interview process for the LIFE case but has not received any formal communication from INS yet. Please let me know if anyone can help with my question.
