When can I apply for I-485? Can I file I-140 together with I-485 or should I wait after I-140 will be approved?
Would be someone willing to share sample cover letters and recommendation letters? I am on the beginning and try to find so much information as possible.

If you are not from retrogressed country then you can file now along with I485.

if you are then you have to wait till VISA numbers are avaliable.

If you are not confident of I-140 getting approved then you can wait till it get approved as concurrently filed both get rejected (on I-140 rejection).

there is something called semiconcurrent!! after filling I-140 u can file I-485 any time!!
