I-140 approved in Jly 2002. I-485 applied pending I-140 in Sept. 2002 under 245I (visitor overstay). Got 1st EAD in April 2003. Now on 2nd EAD. File transfered to local office in Jly 2004. Local office asked to go for finger print in Sept 2004. Wondering if the transfer to local office is because of the visitor over stay (about 2 years) when applied for adjustment of status. I am a Canadian citizen. What will happen if I-485 is not approved. Will there be removal procedure or detention. Thank you

Priority Date
Person joins company A which files labor certification.
Person quits after 1+ years after labor filing.
Person joins other company and labor gets approved, 140/485 is filed.
Its an EB-3 case.
Now, can that person use FIRST labor's priority date assuming that labor is either approved OR pending to be processed/decision not taken ?
