Hi, All:
Glad to let you all know that our I-485 cases (myself, wife and son) have all been approved on April 15, 2004. I must say that we are richly blessed by Almighty God. We are the lucky ones of ND = Sept. 2002 being approved. Started preparing document for I-140 in November 2001, collected all the recommendation letters (eight). Filed I-140 under EB-1 Extraordinary Ability category through an attorney in Feb. 2002, got I-140 approved in August 2002, filed I-485 in Sept. 2002. Finger printed in Feb 2003 (myself) and July 2003 (my wife). Thought my finger print will be expired on May 11, 2004, so I wrote a letter reminding that my FP will be expired bla, bla, bla… one week before April 15 (my approval date), as many of you know this info from this great web site. Indeed I got my approval one week after my letter. I strongly believe that my letter has triggered the approval. It looks INS is working hard to clear the backlogs, especially the case with FP expiring. So guys if you have done your FP and near the expiring date, DONOT hesitate to write to INS. Sure it will not hurt your case if it does not help you.
Will go to INS Charlotte for PP stamping next week. Can some one tell me which address should go for PP stamping ? on the approval notice it says “6 Woodlawn Green, Charlotte, NC 28217”, However, from this web site I see people go to the address at 6130 Tyvola Center Dr. Charlotte, NC 28217 for PP stamping. I just want to make sure that I will get the correct place.
May God bless you all for a speedy approval.
