I-485 Wait Times

My I-140 & 485 were filed in August 2003 at Nebraska. I just got my I-140 approval a week ago (end of March 2004). Any idea on how long is the wait time to hear about the I-485 now? Some people tell me within 6-8 months but some say it takes 2 years?

Can I get a closer approximate range?

Based on the current postings on NSC approvals, the backlog has reduced a bit. It is tyically taking between 22 and 26 months for 485 approval from notice date. If you get a RFE if might increase your wait a bit longer.
