Hi, I\'m filing my I-485/EAD now. My wife\'s visitor visa expires in 3 weeks. Once we get our I-485/EAD filed before my wife\'s expiry date, she should be fine in terms of her status, correct?
Is it because of the I-485 filing or the EAD filing that will keep her in legal status beyond her B1 expiry?
I\'m on the H1 visa now. My understanding is that once the I-485 is filed, there is a short time period (2-4 weeks) where I cannot travel until I receive a Tracking receipt or something like that. Can someone clarify?
