I-485 twice.

Here is the situation. I applied for 1-485 in Dec 2000 from VSC.
My wife\'s is planning to apply 1-485 too but from TSC. I assume TSC
processing time is better then VSC. I added my wife as beneficiary.
Is it possible for my wife to apply I-485 from TSC with me as
beneficiary. I checked with my attorney. She mention we cannot have
two I-485 applications. But some other attonery\'s mentioned
it is possible. I feel these forum gives more important info to
decide on the issue.

At no time two I485 petitions should be filed. The reason being the latest I485 filing despite having one pending would automatically mean that you intend to abandon the previous I485 application. Actually, in your scenario you want to be in, both of you may end up loosing the processing time if I485 is applied again. But given the INS Screw ups, you may be in luck if they don\'t verify. The question is are U ready for this risk? I know I wouldn\'t.
